I worked on in depth research and then designed user flow and screens for Titan email.

Digging deeper on how others were doing?

The goal of research was to understand and observe -

We already had a setup to create and send certain types of marketing campaigns. However, we wanted to expand based on multiple client requests. 🥲

User flow of entire process, from signing in to enabling 2FA

Disabling or changing settings for 2FA

Recovery options for 2FA if it's forgotten

  1. The setup of 2FA remained pretty standard using auth app or setup key.

Observations After multiple discussions, with stakeholders we decided to rely on simple steps made by market research
  1. Rely on backup codes only for recovery and skipping adding one more channel as that would have increased effort and we focused on shipping it immediately

  2. Titan.email is used by small scale businesses so anyone if not able to login due to losing backup codes can also contact their admin who in turn can contact Titan.email support

Note

This case study is in progress. Will be adding more data about dark theme, videos of userflow and the process soon.
